South Sudan Relief Foundation (SSRF) is a registered community-based, nonprofit organization founded in 2024 to uplift persons with disabilities, women, youth, and displaced populations in South Sudan. We strive to restore dignity, strengthen resilience, and drive sustainable development for communities recovering from conflict.

Our Invterventions
SSRF addresses the urgent and long-term needs of vulnerable communities through six thematic areas:
Education
SSRF expands access to inclusive, quality education for children and youth in crisis-affected communities. We support learning environments, scholastic materials, teacher capacity, and life-skills development to improve literacy, protection, and long-term opportunities
Livelihood & Empowerment
Our livelihood initiatives empower youth, women, and persons with disabilities through vocational skills, entrepreneurship support, and market linkages. SSRF promotes income generation, financial independence, and food security through sustainable agricultural and small-business development
Protection
SSRF works to safeguard vulnerable populations from violence and exploitation. Programs strengthen community protection systems, prevent and respond to GBV and child abuse, expand psychosocial support, and promote inclusive environments where women, children, and persons with disabilities live with safety, dignity, and equal rights
WASH
We improve access to clean water, sanitation, and hygiene services in underserved communities. SSRF supports construction and rehabilitation of water systems, hygiene education, menstrual health management, and distribution of essential WASH materials to reduce disease and enhance community resilience
Health
We strengthen community health systems and access to essential services. SSRF focuses on HIV, TB, leprosy, and sexual reproductive health through awareness, early detection, treatment support, and training of community health workers to reduce preventable illness and stigma
Environment
SSRF promotes environmental conservation and climate adaptation in areas affected by conflict and displacement. Activities include reforestation, community climate education, and sustainable land-use practices to protect natural resources for future generations
